Quantum Education Summit 2025: Shaping the Future, Empowering Minds

3 4 5 December 2025

CosmoCaixa Science Museum

Quantum technologies are poised to redefine industries, revolutionize problem-solving, and accelerate scientific discovery. Accessible quantum education is no longer a luxury but a necessity to ensure inclusivity and innovation across all sectors. The Quantum Education Summit 2025 aims to break down barriers to quantum knowledge by offering sessions tailored to all levels of expertise. From beginners exploring the basics to advanced learners delving into cutting-edge developments, this event underscores the importance of making quantum technologies understandable and accessible to everyone. The Summit will bring together over 300 students, educators, innovators, researchers, and industry professionals, empowering them to lead the quantum revolution in education by sharing new tools, methodologies, and innovations. It aims to foster a more inclusive and forward-thinking educational ecosystem that bridges academia, industry, and society.  Together, we can empower individuals and organizations to lead in the quantum revolution, fostering a future where no one is left behind. The summit will take place over three days in Barcelona, at the iconic Cosmo Caixa science museum, featuring plenary and contributed talks, panels, hands-on sessions, and networking opportunities. The main thematic areas will include:

  • Foundations of Quantum Education, focusing on integrating quantum content into undergraduate and engineering programs.
  • Workforce Development & Continuing Education, addressing industry needs and best practices for training professionals in the field.
  • Widening Access & Inclusion in Quantum Education, showcasing initiatives that expand participation at a global level, including student-led initiatives
  • International Policies & Strategies in Education, with insights from institutional representatives and key stakeholders.
  • Educational Innovations, including technological and methodological innovations in hardware, digitalization and pedagogy.
  • Outreach initiatives, highlighting efforts to foster accessibility and global impact by actively engaging a broad public.

This summit is an official event of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, organized by the Catalonia Quantum Academy – educational pillar of Quantica: the Mediterranean Quantum Valley — in collaboration with leading European projects such as DigiQ, QTIndu, and QUCATS. It aims to reinforce Europe’s leadership in quantum education while fostering long-term collaboration between academia, industry, and society.
