The Catalonia Quantum Academy will help attract & train the next generation of quantum scientists and engineers, strengthening the region’s capacity to develop and deploy current & future quantum technologies.
The Catalonia Quantum Academy (CQA) is a collaborative platform under Quantica Mediterranean Valley of Quantum Science and Technologies, established to coordinate efforts to leverage the region’s internationally recognized expertise to strengthen education, training and professional development in Quantum Science and Technology (QST).

The Catalonia Quantum Academy welcomes proposals to support events such as workshops or schools with a clear educational, outreach or community building goal aimed at undergraduate, master’s or PhD students.

Visiting Scholars Awards
The CQA Visiting Scholars Awards program aims to attract visiting faculty or researchers to engage in research collaboration, teaching, outreach and/or community engagement activities within the CQA community.

Student Research Fellowships 2024
The Catalonia Quantum Academy is offering up to 8 Student Research Fellowships for master’s students to undertake a research stay (internship or master’s thesis project) at laboratories and research groups of the participating CQA institutions.

Student Mobility Fellowships 2024
The Catalonia Quantum Academy is offering up to 10 Student Mobility Fellowships to to encourage mobility of master’s students enrolled in eligible academic programs within the community.
